We have a four panel door in unrestored state, looking for a new home in return for a small donation to the shed, sizes shown in the pictures below, contact us via facebook for more information.
Just a short update to show we have been busy at the Mens Shed, here’s a picture of a bench under restoration for the local community in St Johns town of Dalry. If you have something you need refurbishing or making, please get in touch with us.
After our successful Christmas Meal at Nicos we are arranging more. Walter is looking into a trip to Ayr or Carlisle Races. Details to follow! Do you enjoy a flutter? Are History and Gardening your thing? How about a trip to Drumlanrigg or Castle Kennedy? We are working on it! Come along and join in the social activities as well as learn new skills at the shed.
In response to many enquiries the Shed Would like to announce that as from this Saturday 4th February the Shed will be open on the First and Third Saturdays of the month from 9am to 12 Noon. This will be a trial period until the 1st of April. Please come along this Saturday , Men and Women welcome, Check out our facilities and start your own project or get involved in one of the sheds.

The arrival of a Mens’ Shed has been a Glenkens success story of recent years. The Mens’ Shed buildings, found behind the Old Smiddy in Balmaclellan, have established themselves as a popular and well used place for a whole range of group and solo trades and activities.
